Insurance
If you have private health benefits, you may be eligible for coverage of counselling and psychological assessment services. We recommend verifying with your insurance provider to determine whether you are covered for counselling with registered psychologists, social workers, or certified Canadian counsellors. Some plans may only include psychologists, while other plans may include other professionals as well. At this time, we do not offer direct billing to private insurance providers. However, we will provide you with a detailed receipt after each session which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Payment
We accept payment by e-transfer and credit cards prior to each session. If desired, you can also pay for your session in advance when you schedule it. If you have an EFAP program, please make sure that financial arrangements have been made on your behalf.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask that you cancel your session 24 hours in advance in order to allow us to provide timely care to other clients. You can cancel and reschedule your appointments by emailing your counsellor or our office. Appointments not cancelled with 24 hour notice will be charged a late cancellation fee of ½ hourly rate of your counsellor.
